Just bought this coat in your store on our last day in London on Saturday - its an absolutely brilliant coat. Had shopped all over the whole week and just never found something that I liked before we came in on our last morning. Although I will say I bought a size down from what I would have normally bought and it fits perfectly. Really love it!

As a newcomer to fly fishing this video has been an excellent learning curve for me. I was actually searching for nymphing tutorials but because my club really frowns upon the use of indicators, the second part using a dry fly as an indicator and how to tie it 'New Zealand' style, I can now give this a bash with some confidence...hopefully. So I've stumbled on this accidentally by being drawn to your video title. Thanks for taking the time to explain all methods clearly.

Just to let you guys know, any Americans watching this, you'll get beat up if you dress like this to go shoot clay pigeons. Especially if you're like shooting clay, pigeons and a field a week or two before season to get ready. Yeah if your father-in-law is there you might as well just get a divorce. You just can't come back from this. Do not dress like this in America. T-shirts and blue jeans aren't ideal, but better than this.

There is something I don't understand here. What's the point of buying this 1-2-3 ultralight reel if it doesn't balance well with the rod afterwards? In euro nymphing everyone says to get bigger reels to balance with the rod through the handle. Is there anyone who can explain to me the reason of this Hardy Ultraclick ? Witch it looks really a piece of art anyway.

Always ensure your clothes and boots are brand new, get a pair of B25’s and the best cartridges money can buy. Jump in your Range Rover sport in the hope that you get to drive it on mud for the first time. Meet up with the rest of your guests from the city and get pissed the night before the shoot. Turn up to the shoot and chat bollox to the keeper and your loader about high birds in Devon. An awkward conversation when your loader asks you what’s your favourite drive as he’s from Exmoor and works most of the shoots. Quickly answer imaginary mobile phone call. Take the shot glass from the keeper drink it then put it back along with 4 over experienced shots, your loader tells you your peg is on the bottom. Put your brand new zip wellies on and catch your socks in the zip. Look gutted when asked to climb on the gun bus knowing the Range won’t see any mud apart from the verges and puddles your will drive over on your way home to embellish your new country life style. Look blankly when the loader asks how you prefer the guns delivered, take your aim at the first drive and leave the safety on. The proceed to hit a bird so low a bayonet would have been better. Drink far too much between drives and tell the others about the right to left pair you nailed. Meanwhile the loaders will be discussing how mr Magoo could shoot better. The keeper will be concerned that targets are way off being met and orders 100 from yesterday to be put on the cart. Get back to the lodge for a fantastic dinner but leave early along with half the other guns as you have a long drive home. Never mind the rest of the shoot team will eat it. Of course leave the organiser to pay tips as you forgot the protocol. Of course a bit tongue in cheek but we have all met them 🤣

I have 5 rodes and none of then have these weight numbers on them, where did you find rods that have all this info on them?

Ha ha ha I catch more fish on barbless hooks come on I'm all for barbless for catch n release but what a rediculus statement.

Reviews doesn't give a realistic resemblance of the engineering! This is not a reel for abuse!, it has no load bearing without its spool! The most accurate description I can give it is a cobweb reel! If you drop it, or drop ur rod you will mangle the reel! And there is not guarantee! I'm afraid of my life of knocking this reel as if I do it's a gonner! There is absolutely no strength to this reel and regardless of how you damage it there is no warranty. Worst hardy reel I have purchased!

Hey thanks definitely made it straight forward.. I live in New Zealand and I want to get into saltwater fly.. I love light weight softbaiting and I think this would be a nice way to hunt in the shallows for snapper kahawai kingfish and trevelly and the like..

hi nick i'm new to fly fishing as i've coarse fished for over 40 years.i have been fly fishing twice on lakes and managed to catch a few trout.i have a 9ft airflo 5/6 rating rod and reel and am planning on tackling a river in the coming months.thanks for the video very informative.

Why do Brits keep repeating - a great piece of kit?

Your casting is very nice. May I ask why you rotate the rod so that the reel is facing broadside to the direction of the cast? I’ve heard some people believe it improves their casting but I would like to understand why that is. The spine is no longer aligned with the direction of the cast and I wonder whether this makes the rod softer. Thanks.
